Gary F The Montessori method of teaching relies on a lot of hands on tools and let's your child learn at their own pace. This is an excellent example of the materials that can be used. I've had several grandchildren that thrived in a Montessori environment. We got this for our youngest grandchild who will be entering school in a year or 2.

Fabulous Learning Tool!

Hallmen House We LOVE this board. My son loves tracing the letters with the wood pen and also making tracings on paper with crayon. The numbered peg side is awesome and is the perfect tool for a child learning to count. My son has lots of energy and has trouble concentrating but the pegs slow him down a little and allow him to focus on the numbers and colors and counting. This would make an absolutely perfect gift for anyone. The quality of the wood is superb and there are no rough edges. The paint on the pegs seems strong and doesn’t look like it would chip or anything. This is made really well! I would consider this an heirloom style item and I plan on keeping this to hand down.

Excellent quality, would make a great gift

Kristine Lindgren High quality boards. Love that the string is attached to both pencils. My daughter (she just turned 4) loves to use this in the car. Nice to have two boards - one for Abcs and one for numbers , counting, and tracing patterns. The edges and finish are smooth, no possible way to get splinters. I like that this is educational, easy to use when in the car or on a plane or at a restaurant. Don't need to use screen time or bring along dry erase markers etc for the wipe clean books. My daughter usually just scribbles on the pages of those with the marker. This product is actually getting her to practise her letters and handwriting /fine motor skills. The packing was really nice - it came in a box of its own with instructions and a card that entitles you to a 90 day warranty. I don't think I'll be needing that because we are so pleased with this product. I think $30 is a fair price point for this item. When my kids are finished with these I'll probably be able to pass them on to another family. I can tell these will last a long time. I did not receive anything for writing this review.
